Jeb Linton
Advisory Board
Jeb Linton joined Yuva Biosciences Inc. as Chief Data Scientist after serving for several years on Yuva Bio’s Board of Advisors, during which time he recruited and guided the core AI team through the early phases of the Company’s Data Science / Artificial Intelligence program. Mr. Linton started his career performing Research and Development in the Defense and Intelligence communities for Lockheed Martin, and then acting as Principal Network Engineer and performing Corporate Development at Earthlink, a major commercial Internet Service Provider. After running a private consulting practice and contracting to IBM Corporate Strategy, he joined IBM as an employee and served for fourteen years in various CTO and other technical executive roles including that of co-chair of the Watson Architecture Board, leading the first commercial architecture efforts after the well-known Watson Jeopardy! Challenge.
Since that time Mr. Linton focused increasingly on Artificial Intelligence, initiating and leading IBM’s Cognitive Security program and leading the National Capital Area Center for Advanced Studies, a regional center for IBM’s primary academic outreach program. In collaboration with the Chemistry faculty of Clemson University, he developed one of the earliest general Reaction Chemistry AI Foundation Models; a prototype which inspired Yuva Bio’s first-generation Chemistry Foundation Model. In collaboration with the Clemson faculty, Mr. Linton built upon the early Chemistry Foundation Model to establish novel methods of improving the bioavailability of nutraceutical and pharmaceutical compounds, and of predicting synergistic combinations of antioxidants (publication links available upon request).
Mr. Linton’s work spans most major technical fields and he has more than 80 patents issued to date, having led several global Intellectual Property strategy efforts and Invention Development Teams for IBM as a Master Inventor. Linton took his BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and has held a position as Adjunct Faculty Member in the Clemson Chemistry Department since 2021.
